David Sanjek (3 de setembro de 1952 - 29 de novembro de 2011) foi Professor de Música Popular e Diretor do Centro de Pesquisa Musical da Universidade de Salford em Salford , Grande Manchester , Inglaterra . Ao lado de seu pai, Russell Sanjek, eles produziram a primeira história escrita abrangente da indústria musical americana; Música popular americana e seus negócios: os primeiros quatrocentos anos.
